Gerard Pierre

With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved Gerard Pierre, affectionately known as Jerry or Gelo, who departed this world on May 31st, 2023. Gerard was a cherished husband, a loving father, a dear friend, and the life of the party. His vibrant spirit and warm presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on September 5th, 1965, in Aux Cayes, Haiti, Gerard was the son of Carlo Pierre and Enite Damier. He spent his formative years in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, where he developed a strong sense of family and community.

In November of 1997, Gerard married the love of his life, Nicole Pierre. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Their bond was a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another, and their love grew deeper with each passing year.

Gerard and Nicole were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Genika and Rochelle Pierre. He took great pride in being a father and played an active role in shaping their lives. Gerard's love knew no bounds, and he was their biggest cheerleader, supporting their dreams and celebrating their achievements.

For many years, Gerard worked as a taxi driver, traversing the streets with a smile on his face and a story to share. His jovial nature and easygoing demeanor made every ride an enjoyable experience for his passengers. He had a remarkable ability to make connections with people from all walks of life, leaving a lasting impression on those he encountered.

Known for his magnetic personality, Gerard was the life of every gathering. Whether it was a family gathering, a community celebration, or a spontaneous get-together, he was the heart and soul of every event. With his infectious laughter, he effortlessly lifted spirits and created lasting memories for all who had the pleasure of being in his company.

Gerard Pierre leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Nicole; his daughters, Rochelle and Genika; his brothers, Franquis Pierre and Absinel Pierre; his extended family; and his many friends whose lives he touched.

As we bid farewell to Gerard, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the impact he had on our hearts. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find solace in the precious moments we shared with him.
