following a sudden heart failure, less than half an hour after talking to his family on the phone.
He was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on November 6, 1968, to the late Moise Blanc and Marie
Louise Mentor. He was immersed in the St. Rose of Lima Parish Community by volunteering for
the school community and helping kids to become tomorrow’s heroes. He was exceptionally
brilliant and attended one of the prestigious universities in Haiti, called Faculté de Medecine et
de Pharmacie, where he met his sweetheart Marguerite Blanc; before dropping out to care for
his family and later married for 27 years.
Frantz was a wonderful and dedicated father who always put extra effort into the well-being of
his family. He surely fitted the definition of “man of the house” by playing both the role of a father
and mother simultaneously. He was the one who took the kids to their very first pediatrician
visits when they were little and it was still him who would take them to their doctor’s
appointments as they were growing up. He drove them to and from school, to social gatherings,
and all in all to wherever life took them. He somehow perfectly balanced his work and fatherly
duties to make sure the family was well taken care of. He was a family-oriented man.
Frantz was not only a kind-hearted father and husband but also an amazing human being.
Although his time was cut short on this Earth, he did not fall short of becoming who God called
him to be. His infectious spirit, his goodness and kindness, his teachings, and his wisdom will
continue to live on through his children and wife as a legacy of love, a story of a “family man”.
He will be missed by his devoted and lovely wife Marguerite B Blanc, and his children Papou,
Frantz Junior, Schneider, Jeffrey, and Stacy Blanc. His sisters Marie Moise and Chantale Blanc.
His mother in law Sizelia Edouard, brothers and sisters in law Jacquelin Bessard, Dr. Elius
Bessard and family, Jacqueline B Decimus and family, Emmanise Bessard, and also his lovely
and caring godmother and sister in law Nancy Bessard. His numerous nephews and nieces are
Rudgerry, Jamesy, Jenny, Sheslie, and family, Jessica, Elius Jr, Diana, Joshua, Edwin, Elissa,
and Nehemiah. His aunts, uncles, cousins, and all who were affected by his sudden passing.
Rest In Peace Frantz Blanc.
We miss and love you.
