With great sadness but tremendous love, the family of Sharon Moses Solano announces her peaceful passing on April 12, 2024 at the age of 56. Sharon was born in the Bronx on June 22,1967. She grew up and lived in North Miami Beach, Florida until her passing. While Sharon's time on Earth was short, she impacted so many lives for the better and was a force of nature to be reckoned with, in business, love and life. Sharon followed her passion, and built and operated a highly successful hair salon. Sharon was known throughout the world for her talent as a hair extensionist and was a hairdresser to countless celebrities.
Sharon had an enormous heart and was extremely charitable. She had the incredible gift to make everyone feel special. Sharon was diagnosed with Elhers-Danlos syndrome many years ago which caused her to have her first open heart surgery at the young age of 35. She overcame her health issues with vitality and vigor but always faced health challenges because of the disease. Sharon lived every day to the fullest and with an infectious laugh. Everyone loved Sharon's sense of humor, spontaneity, and fearlessness. What Sharon loved most in the world was her family. She was incredibly proud of her two children, Amanda (David) DeFrancesco and Joshua (Siera) Solano. In 2020, Sharon was given the gift of a beautiful Granddaughter, Aria DeFrancesco (aka "my Lala" or "Tiny"), whom she cherished.
Sharon is predeceased by her mother, Jacqueline Graffart Moses, Mother-in-Law, Mama Chola, Aunt Bobbie, as well as her dear friends Linda Meyers and Howard Robinson. Sharon is survived by her children, Amanda (David) DeFrancesco, Joshua (Siera) Solano, father, Barry Moses, siblings, Janet Moses, John Moses, Johanna (Ed) Sheppard, Tina (John) Pane, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be scheduled and announced shortly. Our hearts are heavy, but are comforted to know that her memory will serve as a blessing to all that knew her.
