Mark Ivan Richman, age 68, of Coconut Grove, Florida passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022 in Miami, Florida. Mark was born January 21, 1954 in Cleveland , Ohio to parents, Daniel & Norma (Becker) Richman. Later moving to Florida where he graduated from Rollins College in Orlando with BA in Business Administration, and then to Miami to begin his career as a successful restaurateur, which spanned 45 years.
Mark’s very popular chain of Beverly Hills Cafe restaurants could be found in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, known for the secret recipe of the honey yeast rolls made daily on premise, as well as homemade soups and salad dressings to accompany the large and diverse menu. Mark was known for his kind and generous heart, treating his employees as family.
Mark is survived by his mother, Norma Becker Richman, his sister Sharon and brother in law Charles Deutchman, his nephews Daniel ( fiancée Taylor) and Spencer Young, his niece Alexandra Deutchman, his life long friend Lynn Parks, his devoted caregivers Allison and Pat, and the many who knew and loved him.
We will gather together for a Memorial Service to Celebrate the life of Mark on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 11:00am at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels, 17250 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, Florida 33160. The family will receive friends from 10:00am till service time at 11:00am
