James Kenneth Bruno

James Kenneth Bruno, passed away on May 1, 2022 in Aventura, Florida, having lived more lives than anyone I know in his 77 years of life.

He grew up in the Bronx, New York with his parents Frances & Julio (now deceased) along side his younger brother Stephen, whom he always spoke of with great affection. “My brother Steve he’s a gentle guy.” That’s what he would say. He loved his nieces and his sister in law, Sharon more than they know.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Penny, daughter, Julie and grandson, Julien. He loved his wife whom was his equal both in intelligence and wildness. When he would say “yes” she would always add “and more.”

He was a man who loved to party, laugh and enjoy himself. He never shied away from a good time and was happiest when he was around his family and friends during those good times.

He always said he didn’t want to live if he wasn’t really living. Maybe he knew something we didn’t and decided to take the party somewhere else…
