Sandra L York

She was born in Berkley, California to parents Douglas and Ida Sue Emerson. She was a high school graduate and later attended college. She married Clifford York, Sr. on January 30, 1963 in Pulaski County, Arkansas

Sandra was known to all as a wonderful wife and mother, one who’s main goal in life was to take care of her family and make sure everyone was happy.

She worked for the V. A. Regional Office for many years and loved to help the veterans.

There are so many special moments to remember, Sandra was always there when anyone needed her. He children hold dear their precious memories of her teaching them to dance and to sew.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Kim O’donnell and granddaughter, Rusty Wyles.

Left to cherish Sandra's memory is her husband of 57 years, Clifford York,Sr.; Children LaDanea Elkins, Patricia Mallonee and Clifford York, Jr. ; sister Linda Fisher; grandchildren Tressia Robbins, Jamie Gains, Rusty Wyles, Tara Etheredge, Joe York, Roger Elkins and William Elkins along with 10 Great Grandchildren and many other family and friends who loved her.

Sandra was laid to rest in Rest Hills Memorial Park after a private family funeral service on March 25th, 2020.
