Rosa Naydine Smith

Rosa Naydine Smith, 83, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was born on February 20, 1935 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Jess Thomas and Lena May Kelton. Rosa married the love of her life, William Clarence Smith on December 24, 1952. Our “Grandma” took pride in taking care of her family. She always made sure that everyone felt at home and loved cooking for her family and friends. She always wanted everyone to feel welcomed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William C Smith; sons, David Lee Smith and Clifford Edmun Smith; grandson, Jonathan David Greer, one sister, Jessie May Houghton, and two brothers, Harold Wilhelm and John Thomas Kelton.

Rosa is survived by one daughter, Deborah Greer and one son, William C. (Tina) Smith Jr; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one sister, Syble Ruth Moen and one brother, Ed Kelton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 23rd at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock. A visitation with family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service.
