George Paul Stoltz was born August 31, 1948 to Charles G. Stoltz and Rosemary (Strauss) Stoltz in East St. Louis, IL. The family moved from East St. Louis to Kansas City, MO to Derby, KS where Paul graduated from Chaplain Kapaun Memorial High School in Wichita, KS in 1966. Uncle Sam came calling and Paul became a Medic in the U.S. Army, serving in Stuttgart, Germany. After returning home he joined the U.S. Army Reserves where, including active duty, he served honorably for thirty-six years, six months. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. He worked for the Veterans Administration as Chief of Personal Property Management and Purchasing before retiring in January 2007.
On December 19, 1970, Paul married Linda S. Paugh, dancing through fifty-two fun-filled years together. They became the parents of three beautiful girls and enjoyed living in Wichita, KS, Lansing, KS, Perryville, MD, Danville, IL, finally settling in Sherwood, AR.
Paul was a former Board Member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #942 in Sherwood and a member of The Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie, MO. He collected model trains and Schlitz memorabilia. He appreciated anything to do with music, a gift he received from his parents. He played the trumpet, enjoyed listening to jazz, his musically talented children and grandchildren and dancing with Linda. Paul loved spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with his boat and his family and friends - the more the merrier - always with a Schlitz in his hand. During his failing health, his love of the lake and boating was kept alive by the help and assistance of his adoring grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife and children: Linda (Paugh) Stoltz, Stephanie Galloway (Joe), Stacie Lake (Billy), Kristal Sinisgalli (Jimmy Spradling) and Richard Falcon (Amy).
