Maudie Elizabeth Smith went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ peacefully, on June 4, 2022 at her home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was 88. Maudie was born on October 28, 1933 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Her parents were Curtis and Eva Goldman. Maudie was one of ten children, survived by her brother, Jim Goldman. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Jesse Smith, Sr. She was a loving mother to three children, Charles Jesse Smith, Jr. (Bub), Stanley Keith Smith and Penny Sue Smith. She was “Granny” to five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A Loving sister, Aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
A graveside service for Maudie will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
