She was a retired public school cafeteria manager, 4-H leader, beloved wife, and mother. Camping with her grandchildren and crafting gave her great joy.
She was preceded in death by parents John and Esther Layne; twin sister Lena Layne, sister Audrey Bradley; brothers Gordon and Pete Layne; husband, John Carl Bergman and son Billy Bergman.
She is survived by her daughters: Patty (Joe) Commerford, Carolyn (Danny) Stewart, Mary Kay (Paul) Cashion. She had 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
She lived a full life, may she rest in peace.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 4th, 2023 from 10:00am – 11:00 am at Griffin-Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock. Following the visitation, there will be a graveside service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
