Linda Sue Underwood, 77, of Sherwood passed away December 23, 2023 in North Little Rock, AR. She was born October 15, 1946 in Mariana, AR to Ernest Darnel Travis and Ruby Carolyn Bell. Linda was an accomplished poet, songwriter, singer, and piano planner. She loved to garden and spend time with her family. Linda is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Rex Hodges and one son, Tony Underwood.; and niece Suzanna Gene Travis - Pryor.
Survivors include Ex-husband Charles Underwood, two sons, Lyle Hodges, Michael Underwood; one brother, Gene Travis; one sister, Pat Englehardt; three grandchildren, Ashley Underwood, Tina Underwood, Steven Underwood; nine great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Leatherwood, Jayden Shadell, Shaelynn Shadell, Tony Easter, Adalynn Underwood, Aviana Underwood, Serenity Lee, Jacob Lee, and Lakelynn Underwood; four nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation will be Friday December 29, 2023 at 1:00PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock, AR. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00PM with Pastor Keith Rusk officiating. Burial will be at 3:00PM at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
