July 1,1962 was the decided 3rd birthday party for Keith’s brother Kevin, as his due date was
July 29, which happened to be Kevin’s birthday. Keith decided to join the party and came into
this world a month early just as the party started. But nothing was easy with his first day, all
the way up to his last. He endured numerous birth defects, from his heart, ears, legs and more.
Doctors warned his parents that he likely wouldn’t make it to his projected due date. But Keith
was a fighter. He overcame all of the adversities as best as he could and outlived both of his
parents.
Keith was born July 1 1962 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio to Marcia Ann
Hesler and Robert Guy Marsh. He left this world into the arms of his loving Savior December
8th, 2023. He is survived by his brother Kevin and wife Leisa of Little Rock, nephew Kyle and
wife Emily of Mission Hills KS and niece Kristen and husband Adam Alfaro of Shawnee KS. He
was also the grand uncle to precious Hallie Kate Alfaro.
After growing up in Cincinnati, his family moved to North Little Rock in August of 1976. He was
a proud graduate of North Little Rock Northeast High School in 1981. He worked for 30 years
at the John McClellan Veterans Hospital before retiring in 2015. Everyone knew Keith at the
hospital even for years after. Once retired, he volunteered for Baptist Health until he wasn’t
physically able. Keith was a beloved member of First United Methodist Church North Little
Rock, and was an usher there for many years. The family will have a private graveside service
at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Keith would have wanted a love offering to FUMCNLR.
