Mr. Joseph Michael Walton

Joseph Michael Walton, took his last breath April 18th, 2015 around 4:00 pm in the company of his four children and close family friend Randy Branscum and daughter's (Katy) partner Whitney Harness. He was born on February 16th, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas to his father, Maynard Walton and his mother, Florence Walton. He mostly enjoyed music, playing guitar, fishing, hunting, a cold one, and most of all his 4 CHILDREN. He was a free, loving, spirit and loved spending time with his six grandchildren and watching them grow. He was also a father influence for adopted cousin Shai Pettingill. He was Survived by his son Joseph Edward Walton, and his three daughters, Theresa Nix-Bivins, Elizabeth McCumpsey, and Kathryn Carson Walton, his six grandchildren Tatum Walton, Angelina Nix, Gabrielle Nix, Ashlyn Nix, Christina Bivins, and 6 month old Glennabell McCumpsey. He is also survived by four brothers; Barry, Maynard, Kenny, and Marty Walton. He is preceded in death by his parents and by his daughter Danielle Marie Walton and his long time best friend Mickey Smith from Griffithville. We love you daddy, we will carry your light! ”Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 6:00 P.M-8:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock with a graveside service on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Memorial Park.
