Johnny Mack Taylor, age 74 of North Little Rock, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2021. He passed peacefully in the comfort of his log cabin, his childhood home, surrounded by his family and friends... (his way). He was born on October 13, 1947 to the late Elbert Monroe Taylor Sr. And Ruby Pearl (Fields) Taylor.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Elbert “Sonny” Monroe Taylor, Billy Joe Taylor, Raymond Clifton Taylor; his three sisters Myrtle Katherine Taylor, Ruby Diane St. John, and Phyllis Kaye Rhoden.
He is survived by his three daughters Tonya Renee’ (Ron) McEwen, Shelly De’Ann (Troy) Leck, Misty Dawn (Charles) Herald; mother of his three daughters Shirley A. Hamilton; 5 grandsons Michael Keith (Charity) Dye, Alan Taylor (Sally) Strong, Dean Austyn Leck, Cody Sean Herald, Logan Wyatt Herald; one granddaughter Tory Ann-Johnee' Leck, three-great-grandchildren Alex Nunn, Madi Nunn, and Elise Taylor Strong; his sister Betty Jean (Tommy) Chrissonberry, Girlfriend Sheril Shumaker, as well as several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
