John K Studer

John Kenneth Studer, age 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 21, 2015. He was born on February 26, 1937 in Ottawa, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, John K. and Berneda Studer, and his sister, Judy Shelton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris Studer, their son, David Studer (Tashia) of Perryville and their daughter, Kris Tackett (Mark) of Sherwood, grandchildren Mishka and Dylan Studer, each of Little Rock, Daniel Eubanks of Perryville, Corey Cassidy of Little Rock, Courtney Cassidy of Fayetteville, Jennifer Tackett and Brian Tackett (Ali) each of Hot Springs, great-grandchild Alice Tackett of Hot Springs, two nieces, Michelle Zehender and Vicky Inneger (Andy), and one nephew, Michael Zehender (Jeannie). He graduated from Tiffin University School of Business and served in the United States Air force for 23 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and recreational shooting with his daughter and son-in-law. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Griffin- Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home located at 7724 Landers Road in North Little Rock with a Rosary following the visitation. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 7000 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock. Burial, with Military Honors, will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery located at 1501 West Maryland Ave. in North Little Rock.
