She was preceded in death by her father, Berlin Millsapps, and her mother, Madge Tolleson Millsapps. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Byron Oury; her son, Steve Oury (Amy), of Little Rock, and her grandchildren, Lauren Oury and Sean Oury, both of Little Rock; her brother, Don Millsapps, of North Little Rock, and her sister Gail Clippard, of Dexter, Missouri.
Known as “JoJo” by her grandchildren, Jo was the best wife, mom, and grandmother anyone could ask for. She was devoted to her family and spent countless hours at Steve’s sporting events over the years. She and Byron were avid golfers and traveled the state of Arkansas playing golf tournaments together. Jo was active in the Arkansas Women’s Golf Association and was a long time member of North Hills Country Club. Jo was a lifelong member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock at 9:00 am on Saturday, February 10, with a Memorial Service following at 10:00am.
