Dorothy Mae Freeman, 92, of Sherwood passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. Dorothy was born in Faulkner County, Arkansas on May 22, 1929; the daughter of Lester and Leoni (Youngblood) Williams. She married her husband Ernest Freeman Jr. on May 10, 1944. She most recently attended McArthur Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a homemaker.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory, two sons; Dean Freeman and his wife Helen of Sherwood, Arkansas; and Lester Freeman of Missouri, a daughter Martha Uptergrove of California, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, a brother Vernon Williams of Beebe, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Chuck and Earl Freeman, as well as her siblings Gerald and Lorraine.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills, from 12:00 to 1:00pm; with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
