Cleta Reed Looney

Cleta was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She demonstrated her love of Christ through her daily interactions with her family, friends, and co-workers. She will be remembered for her gracious gift of hospitality and kindness to everyone she encountered. She constantly sought out ways to serve others.

Before her retirement she dedicated many wonderful years serving as a dietician and food service director for the Arkansas School for the Deaf.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leamon Lee Looney of 44 years; her parents; her brothers Marshall and Wendell Reed; and step-grandson Tyler Grantham.

She is survived by her sister Shirley Sue Ripple of North Little Rock; her daughter Rhonda Devore and husband Don of Sherwood; and son Kevin Looney and wife Mindy of Hattieville. She is also survived by 5 grandsons that were the joy of her life; Jarrod Devore(Kendi); Josh DeVore(Jennifer); Justin DeVore(Christine), Patrick Looney(Angela); and Caleb Looney. Her life was also blessed by her step grandchildren Justin Grantham and Mallory Valle(Craig). She was blessed with precious great-grandchildren; Leighton and Miller DeVore; Jasper and Jaxon DeVore; Lawson DeVore; Josie and Eli Valle; and Tessa Marshall. Her life was also enriched beyond measure by her dear friend John Hain and his five daughters and their families.
