Brenda Iralene (Fields) Burrows, 74, a mother, sister, aunt, Nana, great-grandmother, and child of God was called home to be with her Savior on March 17, 2024. Brenda was born on October 13, 1949 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a sweet, loving person, one of the nicest people you would ever meet and would have done anything for you. She loved to cook. She and her late husband, Wayne, owned and operated a deli for many years. She loved to cook for others as well, and having pool parties, feeding numerous family members was one of her unique spiritual gifts. She enjoyed decorating her flower beds and feeding the birds in her yard. Brenda’s faith was strong. She spent many years teaching in Sunday School. Brenda worked for Farm Bureau for over thirty-five years.
She is survived by her son, Rodney Burrows, granddaughter Jessica Burrows Holloway (Philip), Loren Burrows; grandson, Devin Burrows; great grandsons Nash and Roman Holloway; brother, Ronnie Fields (Faith); sister in law, Sue Dunlap; brother in law, Donnie Burrows (Vicki) and some very special nieces, nephews and cousins. Brenda was preceded in death by her son, David Burrows; husband, Wayne Burrows; and her parents, Obert and Helen Fields. Brenda’s family and her dogs throughout the years were of the utmost importance to her.
Brenda’s family will be holding a graveside memorial service in her honor at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, on Saturday 03/23 at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kellogg Valley Baptist Church in Sherwood.
