With great sadness, we announce the passing of Bill Jack Carlisle, Jr., 75, of Cabot, into the arms of Jesus on December 5, 2024. Bill was born on August 20, 1949 in Little Rock to Eunice “Carrie” Freeman Carlisle and William J. Carlisle, Sr., who both went to Heaven ahead. He also joins in eternity his siblings: Luther, Lucy and Richard. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his “bonus” daughter Heidi Stanislawski Suchan; grandchildren Victoria, Mason and Zane; fur babies and doting friends.
Bill had a variety of talents. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, can be seen in movies like “Space Camp” and “Nothing in Common,” obtained a degree in Criminal Justice, authored a book, was an avid handyman, and served as a military contractor in Iraq. Bill kept a tight circle; those inside the circle he loved fiercely and defended ferociously. He had a quirky personality and infamously bad jokes. He never missed an opportunity to add humor to an occasion. His infectious smile and laugh are forever in our hearts.
Bill has requested that there be no services.
