Anita Marie Lewis, 72, of Jacksonville, AR passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, after a short illness. She was born in St John's, Newfoundland, Canada. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Kathleen neé Boland Fleming and two sisters, Mercedes and Theresa. She was an adored mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, Eugene P. Lewis; two children, Stacey Stewart of Salt Lake City, UT and Dawn Renee Cecil and husband, Brad currently residing in Jacksonville; brothers, Frederick Fleming and wife, Mary and John Fleming and wife, Veronica all of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; sister, Margaret Swinimer of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. She had 4 grandchildren, Zoe, Daenerys, McKinley and Parker. Visitation will be 6 – 8pm Monday, December 8, 2014 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72117. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM during the visitation period. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7000 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR 72116 with Father Tom Elliott as celebrant.
