Your personality, kindness, humor, and love have touched so many. Since losing you, people have shared the many ways you were instrumental in making their lives easier, funnier, and sweeter. Zachary’s laugh and smile still shine in our hearts. Rest in peace. Our thoughts are always with you.  

Zach and I spent three summers together at Tyler Hill Camp. In the second summer, we shared a bunkhouse, a porch, days and nights off, and we were basically inseparable. He was charming, energetic, hilarious and always showed me a good time. I'll never be able to think of those summers without seeing his face and hearing his voice.

We had long since lost touch, but I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing just a few weeks ago, long after the fact.

My heart goes out to the Seider family and all the lives he touched.

  No words can express the heartbreak and loss you are experiencing.  My heart is broken.  My memories of Zach are endless.  He was just a little over a year old when I first came to work for you.  I can still see him coming into the office with his curly hair pretty much owning the place!  Through the 24+ years I watched him grow into a remarkable young man, I even got the pleasure of having him work next to me on occasion.  What I remember most is how very much he loved his Dad.  He would always go on about how great his Dad was and if any of us girls had a bad day with you and expressed it! He was quick to put us in our place, lol.  I am grateful for the years I was there to see him grow and he will always have a special place in my heart.  My love to all of you and know that Zach is so loved and will be missed by so many.  I am here for all of you should you need to talk, cry of share memories.

Dear Perry and Betty, Scott and I were devastated to hear your tragic news of the loss of your beloved son, Zach. I was blessed to meet him and Jonas that day on the mountain in 2004 in Jackson Hole, to then introduce them to Scott and shortly after, be introduced to you Perry. We have such sweet memories from that wonderful holiday. You all earned a special place in our hearts. Zach was a lovely, funny and gentle young man, a fellow snowboarder, and we could feel the love between you all. We’re  honoured to have known Zach and will never forget those special times we shared on the mountain doing what we all loved and sharing our evenings eating Thai food together. To our dearest friends-The Seiders,
We will always remember Zachary for the love, joy, and enthusiasm he brought to all of those who knew him.  It is beyond our understanding as to why he had to leave us so young, but we are certain that his radiant smile and hearty laugh will follow him in Heaven.   Our hearts go out to Perry and Betty, Paul and Stacey, Jonas and Samantha, and his beautiful niece and joyful nephews.  Remember always how he made you feel when you were with him and you’ll find yourself smiling at the way he was.  

I recently learned of Zach’s passing. He lived on my floor and I would routinely see him. I have four kids and he would always smile at them and say hi to me. I even remember one time my son saying he is a nice guy. We did not know him personally but during covid with me being home homeschooling 4 children every day it was taxing. Seeing a fellow neighbor with a big smile saying hello and engaging with my children was unforgettable. I decided to comment because 6 years ago I lost my 19 year old sister. It was total and complete shock for me. She was at college and had a asthma attack and her lungs collapsed. The loss was insurmountable for me. Reading the condolences helped me so much. There are people and then there are “people” and your son and brother was “people” and so was my sister. We don’t understand why things like this happen but the memories keep us going. May you all in time find some peace however you can. God bless

I would come into work and you would greet me with a smile and say,  "Sally Baby" in a NY accent. Our co-workers and I will truly miss you and the light you brought to our store every day. Zack was a great friend of my brothers, Ron, he spent so many of his high school years at our house and he was by far the funniest, most warm hearted of all. Dear Seider Family,

Condolences from my family to yours on the loss of Zachary.  It had been a while since we last interacted, but important to note that my first true friendship in life was Zach.  I'm not sure I even knew what friendship was since I was so young, but nonetheless, in hindsight it was my first real friendship that meant anything to me.  My early youth was defined by times spent with Zach, Paul and Jonas and The Seider household.  Many fond memories of swimming, biking the neighborhood, kick ball, tennis, etc.  Know that those memories, and the friendship Zach and I had throughout childhood and early teenage years laid the foundation for my future friendships and relationships and still lives on, in spirit with me. While I looked around the room at Zach's funeral, I saw a lot of  friends and colleagues from different parts and eras of my life and
realized that each and everyone one of my friends or colleagues I saw,  I could identify as "good," "caring,"  "honest" and "thoughtful" person. This is a true testament to Zach's character and his judge of character. May Zach's memory be a blessing; Baruch Dayan Emet.

I am and sure we all are still in shock this happened so suddenly , Zach was such a cool guy. I am car guy so he was always trying to learn something. He'd never run out of topics to talk about when we chalk it up. Sustained some injuries in the service, was to training to  run a marathon past year we talked about it . So funny guy that he is: was like Dude with your injuries if you can do it, I need to get off my A** and start running too; we started sharing running insights ever since. Overall great guy. I moved to south Florida in 2000, which was the same year that Zach moved away. Because of that, I did not get to spend much time with Zach during the rest of high school. However, whenever Zach came home to visit, he, Jordie, Brett and I would hang out, and Zach treated me like family. Throughout college and the years after, Zach became one of my closest friends. He was truly a selfless person who always laughing. I will miss Zach very much. Love you buddy.

Some friends are like family and that’s what Zach and the Seider’s  have always been to me. From cruises to skiing and everything in between, our families have so many amazing memories together. It’s impossible to think of a world without you and your goofy, movie line reciting personality in it, but I’m forever grateful for having you in my life for the time that I did. So glad we got to speak just a few days ago. Rest easy, brother. I love you.

When I first started to work with Zach he used to try to talk to me. I am not a very social person. Zach did not stop trying to talk to me. We eventually bonded over our religion and then became pretty close and would talk all the time on break. I left Apple 2 years ago and I had to get my iPhone fixed. I showed up early for my appointment and Zach checked me in for my appointment. He sat outside the store and talked to me for 20 minutes just to catch up. Zach was an amazing person and always brought a smile to my face. Wish he was around today to as I could use a smile, but I am too upset as a great person is gone way too soon!

I worked with Zach for only 7/8 months. He was always smiling. At one of the last times we worked together, he showed me a picture of his niece’s Bat-mitzvah. He was so proud and happy. May his soul Rest In Peace. Sending Light to the family. 

I’m at a loss of words. I was standing next to you three weeks ago, and now you’re flying high watching us all from up above the clouds. The memory of you remains with the rest of us here on earth. My deepest condolences to the Seider family.

Zach was a joy to work with. His humor and wit were unmatched. We had long conversations about politics and books we were reading. He always brought a smile to everyone around. And when I started teaching him phrases in Spanish he was quick to learn them. One word that stood out and always cracked me up was the Spanish word for plantains (plátanos). He would purposely mispronounce it just to make me laugh. He would say “Hey Jose did you bring Plantanos for lunch?”

This is one of those losses that I am unable to wrap my head around. The Seider’s are my nearest and dearest of friends. Zachary was the closest thing I had to a baby brother. He was pure entertainment and a guarantee  to bring you a smile or laugh when you were in his presence. I will cherish the lifelong memories that we got to make together and think of him with a smile.  RIP

When you came into work and you saw Zach, you knew it was going to be a great day.  He always had a smile on his face or a joke to share.  He will be sorely missed. No words I can offer will make this hurt go away but know that he was loved by his work family.

Zach was an amazing individual. His smile was my heaven sent. I worked with Zach daily and it was a pleasure to see him once I walked into work. This truly was a shock to us all. Zach presence was full of joy and happiness and I am definitely going to miss him so much. During quarantine before and after Zach used to visit me at my other Job which is Publix. We would laugh and joke all the time. He would order pumpernickel bread and I would make sure it was the best pumpernickel bread ever❤️. He would tell my manger that I am a great worker, having my manger give me a lunch voucher for Zachs compliments on me. It saddens my heart that we have lost a great human. I know that heaven had gained the greatest Angel ever. I will miss you Zach soooo much. The week you passed I was thinking about you deeply because I had not seen you at Publix in a while, just to hear that you had passed on. It hurts so much, but Rest In Peace my love❤️You will forever be missed and remembered.

I’m an shocked and heartbroken that Zach is gone. I worked with Zach for two years, he was one of the most authentic people I have ever known. Zach had a great sense of humor his smile and laughter were endearing. I have so many fond memories of Zach and will miss his wit and sarcasm. He used to say my name in an exaggerated Italian accent imitating Goodfellas Ray Liottas character. “Karreeeenn” 
Death is especially tragic when it claims the young.

I write this with such a heavy heart. Zach was just an incredible person that I had the honor of working with for the past 4 years. I know all of us at the Galleria can’t fathom not seeing his contagious smile, hearing his quick wit or his talent for knowing every word to every song or line to a movie. Zach lit up a room and filled it with laughter. He was unapologetically himself and for that we loved him. Our store is forever changed we have lost just a big piece of our family. He has left us with so many beautiful memories.  He is and will always be unbelievably missed.

Still can’t wrap my mind around the passing of Zach, My prayers and condolences to the family. Working with Zack at apple was one of the funniest, and beautiful moments ever. Zach was the type of guy that regardless of what he was dealing with ,wore a smile on his face or apologized for not being his jolly self, then made a random joke that forced you to laugh.  He cared about the people around him ,and made sure that if you were doing something that he didn’t agree with he gave you a peace of his mind, nothing but respect and humility. Thank you guys for sharing him with us. 

Zachary was such a great friend. Always smiling and making jokes. He will be terribly missed. His memory will definitely be a blessing.

Zach was one of the most genuine people ever. There are just people you meet that you cannot help but like. Rest easy. 

I had the honor of working with Zach, his first day at Apple I got to mentor him, and right away we clicked. We became so close that we would “intellectually” throw shade at those who were not mentally the same level as us. One of the smartest and wittiest person I know. He would jokingly ask me if I would date him, and my response was always “if I was straight, 100%”. Genuinely a great friend, co-worker, and absolutely adored him.  The photo I share here is a perfect example of our friendship and how he is around me and many others. I love you Zach, I never thought that when I came to visit right before I moved the Atlanta, would be my last time seeing you. You are and will be missed. To Zach’s family, know that he was a great man, good soul, and I pray for strength to your family at this time of sorrow.

Hi, my name is Peewee Jean, I’ve worked with Zack at the Apple store in Galleria Mall for the last four years.....and boy, what a contagious smile did he bring to our store. If Zack was around, you were either laughing, debating something or making silly faces and commentaries...Zack and I bonded over our love for avocados and I can’t remember a time where he wasn’t across the room trying to connect with others...in the tiniest way, for that I will always be grateful to him for always being so open and ready to converse with.
