Steve Levine whether he knew it or not, was one of my mentors at work. He had a razor sharp eye to see what was really going on and a droll wit that kept things in their true perspective.
I missed him when he retired and I miss him even more so now. God bless this great Man on his journeys. Steve please look after us.—

Steve Levine was an incredible (and silly) man, father, teacher, director. When my family was in short supply, the Levine family welcomed me to be past of theirs through Broward on Broadway. My time with them was so important to my own healing and I will never forget the kindness and acceptance I experienced there. 

Oh Steve I was so shocked at your passing.  I remember when we first met back in 9th grade oh so many years ago.  I was blessed we kept in touch all these years.  I loved seeing your family grow, the trips you and Meryl went on and hearing about your teaching and your plays.  I will miss you dearly Steve.  Rest in Peace. Prayers for your family and friends during this difficult time.

I met Steve when I auditioned for Broward on Broadway's first show. He was the first director to cast me in a musical (and he cast me in several other shows after that). He was such a supportive and encouraging director, believing in me when I had my doubts. I so enjoyed being a part of the Broward on Broadway family. Steve was so much fun, too. He will be missed.

The first time I ever met Steve, was at an audition, Broward on Broadway, for the show, Annie. I was very nervous because it was my first time auditioning after nearly 15 years. Steve asked me what I was going to sing for my audition. I told him, “Tomorrow”…He smiled, and then said he would prefer that I sing, today. 

Nicole and I want to express our love and condolences to Steve's family and friends. Steve was my second cousin I have known him since 1963. He was very special to us. I still remember him playing baseball in little league. Love Nicole and Phil. 

So sad to hear about Steve. This man LOVED theater. We performed together in THE PAJAMA GAME in Tamarac about nine years ago. The entire cast had a blast doing that show. It is from that show that I met his wife and daughters. I still remember how proud he was of Jessica as she was deciding on what college to attend at the time.  I will always remember him for how funny he was, his ad libs, and he was always full of praise when I sang, "Hey There." My heart goes out to his entire family. He was a lucky man to have so many people love him. 

He was such an inspiration and cared so much for his students. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication and helping us all overcome so many things. May you Rest In Peace 💔❤️‍🩹❤️  I Love You 😢🤗

He was an amazing teacher! I always bought him red pens as a joke but he loved them. 

I’m going to miss you Uncle Stevie.   I loved our talks about the boat, the travel trailer, cruises, your girls, my kids & the wives.  On June 3rd, we had a great talk at the surg center about all your upcoming plans & the big events you were so excited for.   Breaks my heart for Meryl & the girls that you will miss out on those opportunities.  We will miss you but I am always here for your family.

So sad for the loss of Steve.  Shocked and now increasingly saddened.  We shared such a love of musical theatre.  Thinking of all the family and his brother Gordy, who I met through him,  remembering those good times.  May his memory be for a blessing!
