Our thoughts and prayers are with Rene, Mallory and Michael. May the memory of Miles be a blessing to all of his family and friends.

My sincere condolences to the Sonn family at this very difficult time. Miles was the most genuine human being I'd ever met and a darn good baseball coach. His positive impact on my son Julian who played for him is something I'll never forget. Rest in peace coach, you will never be forgotten.

We are beyond sad about Miles. Our hearts and souls are with Rene, Mal, Mike and the rest of his beautiful family. May his memory, like his life be a blessing…

So sadden to hear the news.  Miles was in the same Border Patrol Agents Class as myself starting October 3, 1977.  He broke the record of sit-ups for the entire academy.  He later joined US Customs about the same time as I did.  We always kept in touch throughout the many years.  He will be missed by the entire law enforcement community of South Florida.  My prayers and condolences to all his family and friends!

My condolences to the Sonn family on the passing of Miles. He was always very proud of his family.

Miles was an  outstanding person,  a man amongst men. He was an outstanding Federal and State law enforcement officer and a credit to the profession.

Miles and I attended a class from Barry University together.  He was a US Customs agent out of MIA.  Miles was instrumental in me becoming a Customs officer.  Thank you for changing my life.  God just received a great person who will watch over us.  Condolences to the family

We are so saddened to hear about Coach Miles <3  A mentor to many of the youth growing up in Coral Springs and Parkland.  Coach Miles was a family friend for many years and coach to our son, Adam, through his young baseball career.  You are surely missed Miles! So sorry to hear this Miles was a friend from childhood and we reconnected about 8 years ago down in Florida. I've known him from kindergarten through college so sad. My deepest condolences to his family

So sorry to hear this news. Miles was one class ahead of me in the Customs academy at FLETC. I met him just prior, spoke with him many times while there, then got to know him as a person while we were both stationed in Miami. He will be missed by many. My prayers and condolences to all his family and friends!
