Melvin Bernard Shapiro

Melvin "Mel" Shapiro passed away at his home in Delray Beach, Florida on September 27, 2018 at the age of 82 years old. Melvin Shapiro was born in New York City and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Mel served his country in France from 1956 to 1958. He will be fondly remembered by his children, Glenn Shapiro and Carrie Vineberg. In addition, he will be remembered by his grandchildren Noah and Lauren Vineberg. He is survived by two siblings and their families.

A Funeral Service will be held at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, North Lauderdale, Florida at 10:30AM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018.

Memorial donations in his name can be made to the American Cancer Society or Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
