Marilyn was born in Brooklyn, NY to Freda and Albert Goldman on November 19, 1936. She married Seymour Singer on February 5, 1955 and they were blessed with three sons. Marilyn worked as a professional dancer in her youth and then established a successful career as a business women. Marilyn and Seymour opened and owned the Oceanside Conservatory of Dance and Dance Shop for 30 years. Marilyn was an excellent bowler, loved the sunshine, and held the family record as the only Singer to get a hole in one on the golf course. Although they raised their family in Island Park NY, Marilyn and Seymour moved to Florida and have enjoyed the last 15 years of their retirement in Boca Raton.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 66 years, Seymour Singer. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by their children: Leonard Singer and his wife Adele, Jeffrey Singer and his wife Stacey, and Jerry Singer and his wife Mary Ann. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren: Justin Singer and his wife Jennifer, Anna Stampone and her husband Daniel, Alexandra Phillips and her husband Connor, Zachary Singer, and Michael Singer.
Services will be held on Monday December 13, 2021 at 9:15am at Star of David Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Chapel located at 7701 Bailey Rd, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
