On a humorous note, Ken and I both ended up with the same yellow Ferrari that we both loved.

His always contagious laughter & zest for living the good life! How he adored his daughters! He will be missed & sweetly remembered. I was saddened to see & hear about his passing. My deepest condolences. I just found out and am so deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of an old friend. We lived in the sane community in Cherry Hill  NJ and spent some great times in Boca.  I Will  always remember his contagious smile and upbeat personality.

If you wanted to learn how to live your golden years with the same zest and zeal of your middle age years, all you had to do was meet Ken Shimm.  While having some brief encounters with him over the past few months,  he showed me how you can keep your energy and productivity going forever. 

For him it was all about staying busy and bringing a “can do” attitude to each day.  He was working on so many  new projects at the age of 87 - likely no different then he was doing decades earlier.  What an inspiring human being. 

Wishing Ken and his entire family eternal peace, and may his memory always be a blessing to all of his dear family and friends. 

Ken was a true gem, he was so full of energy and life. I always loved seeing him. He will be truly missed! He was one of a kind. My prayers go out to his family and friends...   

From the very first day I met Ken,  I loved his energy and excitement for the “next deal”. 

He was tough as nails to negotiate against and easy as pie to. Be a friend with. Had so many great  “ Kenny Times” over the years and the opportunity to make new ones will be greatly missed 

The world has lost another original and authentic person. RIP my friend.  I will keep you in my thoughts and the memories in my heart.
