Karen Elana Kellogg

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother, Karen E. Kellogg, at the age of 74. Born July 13th, 1943 Karen left us peacefully on Saturday April 7th, 2018 in her home in Tamarac, FL. Karen will be met in the afterlife by her Mother, Verna Vivian Holiver and her Father, Joseph Holly Holiver. She is survived by her two daughters, Riki Kellogg and her fiancé Sean Britney Martin and Jaime Gale and her husband TJ Gale. She is also survived by her sister Holly Burger and her husband Stephen Burger. Karen left behind many people that cared deeply for her including her ex husband Ronald Kellogg, even though they were divorced, when she fell ill he stepped up to once again try to give support to her and their children. Karen loved deeply and gave her heart freely. She cared immensely for her lifelong friends that she felt were really family, Donald Ciniero, Marnie Costa, Sharon Lederman, and Valerie Estes-Bonadio. The list of people that Karen touched in her life is extensive. Karen worked as a police dispatcher from the time she was 18 years old at various departments in the South Florida area. She would always open her home and heart to family and friends. Karen was truly a beautiful soul inside and out. She had an incredible strong resonant voice and loved to sing and dance, music held a special place in her heart since she was young. Only one thing surpassed the passion she had for music and that was the love for her family and friends.
