Dear Auntie Jill, 
Oh geesh.. I don’t know where to start. Actually let’s start from the beginning.. the day i was born. You wore new boots to the hospital and you were soo upset you got blood on them & since that day you had to let it be known and always told everyone that story😂. You were such an amazing aunt, sister, daughter, wife and mother. I will really miss our junk food movie nights, our wing dates, and most importantly our phone calls. I couldn’t have asked god for a better aunt. The life of the partyyy, okay girll ! Always loved a good turn up and knew how to turn up!
Lol, we both have wings now 💫. I’ll meet you in the sky one of these days and you can tell me all about it. You are my wingman. My angel. Fly high and keep watching over all of us💞🕊. We miss you down here and we will forever cherish your memories and share them with bubbi!

Good morning everyone,
There are no words of comfort during this upsetting time.
For those that i have not had the opportunity to meet, I am Stephanie. Jill was my best
friend, my sister, my ride or die. I would never in a million years think I would be saying
"was" as we always would joke around about being old and feeble togther. In the same
nursing home, eating a toasted everything bagel with fried ham and mayo with our
dentures, and learning to play mah jongg.
I met Jill in i believe 1995 in Olympic Heights High School. We had the same class
together which i believe was biology and hit is off right away. From the day I met my Jilly
we were inseparable except when we would have fights like blood sisters over the
stupiest things, but it would not be for long.
There are MANY MANY years of countless memories that i am so blessed to have
experienced with her. I wish nothing more than to have experienced many more as we
had planned for once covid was gone to bring our kids together to eventually have the
bond we had.
Jill was a breath of fresh air. No matter the mood you were in, my Jilly would turn that
mood into laughter. She was smart, not beautiful but gorgeous, loyal, and so much more
with a heart of gold.
Precious Averie.... I will never forget the day I received a text with a picture of her
sonogram from my Jilly telling me I was going to be an auntie. I think i cried more than
she did because i knew she wanted nothing more than to be a mom and she proved that
for the past almost 4 years of Averie's precious life. My promise to you my Jilly is to
forever keep your memory/our memories alive for your precious Averie.
The only thing i can say is how much I love you and miss you already. Please have
drinks and dance your heart out with my mama Donna, my dad, and my husband Chief.
You were an amazing soul and i will FOREVER be proud to call you my bestie, my
sister....

Effervescent is the word that I think best describes Jill, or as a lot of us would refer to her, Jilly Burger. All I remember was her bubbly personality and she loved to perform, it came from her heart, genuine 100% Jill.

I remember when Jill was in her early teens she would come over the house just to hang with us. There were two things it seemed Jill and myself would do on every visit. The first was to go out front to have a baseball catch. She was good, she knew how to properly use a baseball mitt and threw well too……

The 2nd thing we would do is play Axel Rose, the way we would do that was Jill would put on a flannel shirt of mine and wear it open, wear a bandanna and a backwards baseball hat on her head and then do the Axel way and sing the song Patience. The main reason these 2 memories are so vivid to me is because almost every time we would see each other she always brought it up, and sometime she would even do the Axel sway for me, it was our bond.

When I think of Jill I think of a glowing light, shinning bright in all our live.

 

Vivacious, Sparkling, Vibrant, Bouncy, Chirpy, Adorable, Candid, Fragile and most of all Precious are just some of adjectives that have been bouncing in my head all week with Jill constantly in my thoughts.

 

Fare Thee Well, Fare Thee Well, we love you more then words can tell……

On behalf of my family, thank you to everyone near and far for sending their heartfelt condolences.  I stand here today because, well, my sister would be really mad if I didn't.  I can hear her now, "Really, you didn't speak, you're rude"!  So, I'll keep this short and sweet just as Jill was.  My sister, although the little sister, her personality was larger and definitely outshined most.  She was always my voice.  I know it's hard to believe... I don't like to deal with many people.  I would always send her and she would do it happily every time.  That is a part of who she was.  Jill was many things.
LOVING, BEAUTIFUL, CARING , AN ENTERTAINER to say the least.   A SHOPPER!  Because she loved to shop we all benefitted.    
Jill is a daughter, a little sister, a big sister, an Aunt.  She was "That Aunt", the one my kids went to to break all the rules.  I knew it. it's balance.  Jill became a wife and then her GREATEST JOY, Ms. Averie Bryce made her a Mom.  A great Mom, even in this short time.  She gave her daughter everything to make sure Averie knew how much she loved her today and all of the tomorrow's to come.  No matter how you knew Jill or what you knew her as-Jill, Jilly Burger, Sis, Auntie, Cuz, Mommy, she left you with a little sprinkle of her sparkle.  Her light will always shine bright with the memories we will all keep alive.   Love Forever, Star11

I just found out on Friday about Jill. I am devastated and can only imagine your grief.  Everywhere I look I see things Jill gave me for the baby and I cry. She was there for me when I needed her most and we were friends during the worst period of our lives.

To the Family of Jill,

I have only known Jill for a little over a year, but even in that short time I found her to always be upbeat, sweet, funny and on the move, even though she was also perpetually late!   Jill was a great Mom to Averie, so loving and patient with her, it is devastating to know that that little girl is going to grow up without that.  

I know from losing my brother and a husband that there are no words to make the pain go away right now, it does dull with time, but it is always there. 

Please know that your daughter, sister, mother, wife, etc, was loved and will be missed.
