Helene Lynn Milman

Milman, Helene, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in Plantation, Florida. She was born on January 29, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by her partner, Wayne Rauen, and her three sons: Ivan Milman and his wife Janie Keys, Lance Milman and his wife Carolyn, and Erik Milman, his wife Lisa and their daughter Georgia. She is also survived by her two brothers Harold and Terry Strauss. Helene was a fierce advocate for people with disabilities, a strong voice for civil rights, a breast cancer survivor, and a longtime activist in the Democratic party and women’s groups in South Florida. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 2nd at 3:15 PM at Star of David Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 7801 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, Florida, 33068.
