Dear Lois,

With deepest sympathy to you and your family as you mourn the loss and celebrate the life of your beloved husband, Harold, always so supportive of you and our work at the Faulk Center.  May memories of your many years together bring you some measure of peace.

I first met Lois and Harold photographing the Faulk Impact Awards, in November 2015.  Lois was an honoree. I have always admired their strong, loving commitment  to one another and their family.  Lois and I have been close, ever since then. 

Harold and I shared a love of dogs. I was lucky enough to have been invited to their home. Harold would say, "Bring a dog along".  My curmugeonly yorkie, Sebastian took right to him, from our first visit. Harold was like the human version of Sebby; charming, quick-witted and highly intelligent. You never wondered where you stood with Harold--he would just tell you!  We sat on the patio and chatted, enjoying beautiful sunsets.   

Harold is at peace and can enjoy sunset, from the other side, now. Surely, his quick wit and dry humor will keep the angels entertained.  I will be releasing my next butterfly in Harold's honor  }i{

We are so sad to hear of Harold's recent passing.  But we know he lived an incredible life,  His career was amazing and that he was able to pass it on to Wendy says so much about him and his wonderful family.  
Harold and Lois were both so lucky to have each other and share their lives together with their children always nearby.  
We always had and will continue to admire the way they both lived their lives.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of your beloved husband.   I was on hand as a patient at the hospital during your husband’s stay, to see your devotion and caring.  Carry the memories of the life that you had together.  May his memory be a blessing.
