Irene,Bruce & Josh, Devorah was more than a friend. She was an expression of the Father's love. She gave us so much. She never complained. To the end, she was full of love and life. We learned so much from her. She taught us not to ask God "why" but "what".  Words can never express how blessed we were to know her. She will be missed greatly and loved forever. I am glad to know we will see her again in heaven. Amen

 After knowing you for most of my life I am saddened by the loss of Devorah. Her life and wonderful artistic talent touched many and I am sure she is now in the arms of her beloved father  Mac.

Dear Family,
There are no words to ease the pain of your loss; at least none that I can offer.  All I can say is thank you for sharing this amazing woman with me.  I knew Devorah barely a year, though it feels so much longer.  In the short time that we knew one another, we became friends; we laughed, we cried, we held hands, we talked and we listened, all things that friends do........  I told her that I hoped we would be friends for a long, long time..........

Devorah left me the last painting that she was working on.  When I visited her in the hospital the last week of her life she told me she was sorry that she was unable to finish the painting for me.  Through her own pain, she was thinking of others.....  The painting is of a beautiful mountain stream with a stepping stone path winding past flowers and trees to a beautiful place where I'm sure Devorah rests with the Lord and with all her family and friends who have gone before her.

I will cherish the painting and the memory of Devorah for all my days and trust that we will meet again............, friends forever.

Am rich in Devorah memories. Fun watching/talking movies; she introduced me to Big Fat Greek Wedding at the cheap-seats Tamarac theater (with Chinese food). Had the joy of studying Hebrew with her in Marie's class with Barbara in Parkland; as we listened to the peacocks, & drank lemonade with mint from Marie's garden, ...Dev made Hebrew sentences about her life and teaching art. You could tell she loved her students. Dev said, "Hold God tightly; hold people lightly". Hard to do.

With Devorah, a lot of music, fun, wisdom, & love has gone from this world to the next. My family & I are so sorry for your loss.

To Irene, Josh, and Bruce. I am so sorry for your loss at this time, of one of the most amazing women I knew. A woman of grace, humor, wisdom, deep understanding, encouragement, joy, creativity, servanthood, and love for those around her.  I will dearly miss her, as I visited her yearly and we would have our adventures together and share our hearts and the laughter of two souls comfortable with each other. I know that each of you will miss her deeply...and that life is now forever changed here for you on this earth with her gone. But, we who share the same faith in Yeshua the Messiah as she, are deeply comforted by a knowledge that we will see her again...rejoicing in great health and with much song in the living room of our Heavenly Father. I pray that He will bestow upon you His peace, comfort, and strengthening presence. I know she loved each of you deeply and prayed for you often.
