It is hard to believe that four years ago yesterday, you had to leave us. 

As each day has passed, each of us has gotten more proficient at learning to live life in our changed realities.  We seem to have adjusted to the general suckiness of it all,  trying to live in the moment and are finding peace and actually some happiness. You would be so proud of our boys. All three of them are looking after me and each other. And your grandaughter.....well she is something special all together. 🥰


It's a sorrow to think of the passing of Scott, a colleague and dear friend for many years. 

When Scott and I had a phone call in October 2019, we chatted and reminisced.  His words were warm and inspiring. He said he wanted to sail his boat to travel around the world including Taiwan to meet with me.

Scott's smile and kindness will always shine in our hearts.

I would like to offer my sincere condolences for your loss.

I worked with Scott for over six years. Although I only met him in person twice, we talked a lot over the phone. He was like an old friend that I had known for a long time. Scott was very knowledgeable and he was always willing to help. When my nephew started university in Irvine, Scott offered to be his emergency contact because the family is far away in San Francisco. Scott had a warm heart. I sincerely enjoyed working with him in recent years. He will definitely be missed.

I met Scott in 1981 at VHD disc mfg . He was a very good friend and kept in touch for approx 40 years. We played many rounds of golf with him . He was lot of fun to hang  around. He was always thinking positive.  We worked together for at least 20 years at different companies. He was a team player and helped others with out expecting anything in return. We are going to miss him . We wish his family all the best. I am planning to attend his ceremony on March 8th.

I am Maria van Kempen located in the Netherlands, I was a colleague of Scott for 10+ years and we operated in the same division. I retired in 2015 and Kirsten Snow forwarded your message to me. 

I am deeply sorry for your loss and like you to know that Scott was loved and highly appreciated for the person he was. Respected and admired for his willingness to share knowledge and offering his help very generously.  He was straight forward and fair and always ready to back you up. Twice a year we came together during sales meetings in Montreal. During these events he was my “buddy colleague” and I will always remember our conversations and laughs over a drink in the evening. He was warm and charming and a good listener with lots of empathy.

English is not my mother tongue, I hope I picked the right words to express my respect and feelings.

The 28th of December 2019 is a very special to me since on this day my first grandchild was born and this day will now include a special moment for Scott. I will forever cherish my memories of the “big guy” and on the 8th of March I will be with you in my thoughts.

Our prayers go out to all of you for the untimely passing of Scott, a beloved husband and father. 

Scott was a wonderful, kind man whose love of sailing was only exceeded by the love of his family.

I was saddened to hear of Scott's passing. I have fond memories of playing over the line, tackle football, basketball with his dog Rocky and endless ping pong games in the summer.
I would have loved to had shared a beer with him and talk about where our lives had took us.

I remember a day when I was so happy  when Scott got home and he saved me from being  inadvertently locked in the side yard of my house with no one home. Thank you Scott.

Scott was a very sweet and relaxed guy and it came as a shock to me that somebody that graduated with Jeff and myself from La Quinta in 1976 could pass at our age and so full of life.  I think often of the great times we had when you were living in the condo nearby and we would get together and hang out...even at the Ray Charles concert when we sat behind Ray!  So many old stories and great laughs.  They are strong memories for me and even though time takes its toll, the memories don’t fade.

I met Scott the first time in 2004. I always found him a very kind hearted and a Happy Guy who would always try to help you. Over next 10 years I met him bi- annually at every sales & planning meeting and evertime it was fun.

My memory about him is stuck with the funny boat rowing incident at Mont Tremblant. 

I am sure he is making people laugh in the heaven too.  RIP Scott! You will be missed



Dear Carolyn and Family,

I met Scott five years ago, during the company Planning Meeting.  From the moment I met him, I could see what a kindhearted, smart and funny man he was.  Scott had a huge heart and was always willing to help others whenever he could.  I spoke with Scott just a few weeks ago, before the Holidays.  Heaven has gained an Angel.  He will be greatly missed.  R.I.P. Scott.

I worked with Scott for over 8 years. He tought me Many good things regarding work and life . Laughing was always part of a good conversation specially while traveling. He was a good friend, like a Big brother to me. Always looking to help me. I Will miss him Big time. He was a great friend, Boss and mentor. My condolences to his family. I am sure he is making God laugh right now. Life is good and life show us wonderful  Friends like Mr. Larson (I used to call him like that).  Enjoy heaven Scott. I Will see You there some Day for sure. 

Scott and I started to work at Targray almost the same time and we ended not long one after another. Once a year we enjoyed time together participating in activities organized by our company. Great memories, great time!
