Kathy, I will never forget our first day in Woodland Hills; so many new faces and names to learn, but for some reason you were one person I was very interested in getting to know.  I am blessed to have known you for the short time that I did, and feel honored that I was invited to participate in the cancer walk this last fall. I had the great pleasure of working with Kathy.  Her warm heart and gentle soul were such a blessing to be around.  She was an inspiration to many, with her strong values and strength.  She will forever be in my heart.  My deepest and sincere prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Kathy was my nina, aunt, and best friend. She was always such a strong-willed, loving, tough, and optimistic person who I could come to for just about anything. I miss her so much and know that she is proudly and peacefully watching over all of us right now. She will never be forgotten.

Kathy was an honest person, she would always listen & give advice. I loved how sometimes she would let me give her advice too. I felt she was one of the few people who understood me. I always knew Kathy was a strong person but after this past year, she proved to be stronger than I thought. When I heard she passed away, I was angry at first, I felt very lost but it gives me comfort to know that she is not suffering anymore. 

It gives me greater comfort to know “Pnut” aka Ninja is in good hands with his loving family. Kathy you leave him so much of your strength & courage. Daniel, I am going to miss your mom so much!

I'm still in such disbelief, especially when I see your pictures. You look so vibrant and full of life. Kat, my friend and inspiration, took a part of me with her.  The memories of our times together will always stay with me, at work when she was my "back up" every time I went on vacation, we made a "deal" to keep an eye on each other's work when we were out.  We were so much alike, so many things to share, always comparing our lives, actions, and family.  I always admire the woman in her, taking care of Dani, her son, going to school, volunteering and working at the same time. What a Woman!!!

Kathy was a beautiful and kind person .  She will never be forgotten.

It is with heavy hearts that we write this message.  Kathy was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend. I met Kathy in May 2005 when I first started working for GMK.  She and I worked side by side with Julie B. for many years.  It was a pleasure to work with such an amazing woman.  I was extremely proud of her for going back to school and graduating from CSUN.  What an accomplishment.  Kathy and I also shared some great memories outside of work.  She was very fun to be around.  I will truly miss her friendship.  May you rest in peace my dear friend.

I had the privilege of meeting a unique individual named Katherine Jimenez.  She was fun, outgoing, social and full of energy.  Her attitude was no nonsense, yet her heart was all giving.  Then as life would have it, we ended up working together and had the greater blessing of having this no nonsense woman as my paralegal.  She shared her hopes of becoming an attorney and of managing being a single mom.  I shared my own experience and struggles with her and encouraged her to follow her dreams and to find a manageable balance.  Then she was diagnosed with cancer.  This is when I experienced the depth of her strength and optimism.  Although Kathy's body lost the fight with cancer, I believe her Spirit is free.  She has definitely left a positive impact in my life and in the lives those who knew her.  She will be missed and never forgotten.

I will always have you in my heart, it really is hard to accept the fact that you are no longer with us.  Hope you are in a better place.  Marco

It was a shock to me when I heard Kathy had passed away.  Words cannot express my sadness.  I will never forget the time we spent working together and the laughs and stories we shared.
