Joseph was born in Burbank, California at Saint Joseph Hospital. He attended Saint Finbar school until junior high. He graduated from John Burroughs high school, where he met and married his high school, sweetheart, Barbara Walsh. He loved working with wood. He spent 40 years working for Lou Lenz Painting Company. He was a family man and loved his children very much. He loved taking his family camping every summer.
Joseph is superseded by his father, Franklyn Wheeler, his mother, Mary Wheeler, and his sister, Susan Butler.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Barbara Walsh Wheeler married for 51 beautiful years, his son, Jeff Wheeler, daughter, Carrie Wheeler, and older brother, Earl Wheeler, and his four grandchildren Riley Roberts, Grace Roberts, Isabelle Wheeler, and Kaitlynn Wheeler, he adored each one of them and loved being a dad and a grandpa. He will be forever in our hearts and missed by all who knew him. We love you Dad!
