Dr. Timothy S. Rister, 58, of Florida, formerly of Nazareth PA, passed away, Tuesday May 5th, 2020 in his home. Born in Phillipsburg NJ, he was the son of Joyce (Sandor) Rister and the late William Rister Sr. of Phillipsburg.
He graduated from Warren County Technical School in 1979 and went on to serve as an Electronics Technician in the United States Navy until 1985 where he was on staff with the White House Communications Agency. His various tasks included support for our late Presidents Richard Nixon and Ronald Regan. His awards included the Navy Good Conduct Medal and the Presidential Service Badge.
After his military service Timothy enrolled at Prince Georges Community College and then went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he graduated with high honors “Gold Cord” of Phi Theta Kappa, National Honor Fraternity, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Tim also had a gift and love for music. He traveled and was a DJ for multiple events and continued his music passion for years in addition to his Chiropractic practice. He had a brilliant way of thinking and always excelled in creativity, knowledge, along with a proficient excellence in doctoring, and a strong will to genuinely help people that will always be cherished!
He is survived by his brother William Jr. and his wife Stacy, and brother David and his wife Jennifer of Phillipsburg, NJ.
