Joseph Saccocci of Naples, FL, passed on June 29, 2018. His Memorial Mass was held on July 10, 2018, at St. Agnes Chapel in Naples. He was a devoted husband to Carole, loving father of Dr. Michael (wife, Cynthia,) and Robert, caring grandfather to Kyle and Keira, and encouraging godfather to Dr. Robert Balog, Dr. Lenard Meyers, and Mr. Lee Kornmeyer. Joseph was a graduate of RCA Institutes in NYC and was employed by Blonder-Tongue Labs. While working full time at the Labs on Head Ends for the Olympics, he
was also attending Rutgers University evenings, majoring in Business Mgt. and making the Dean’s List.
He is also survived by sister, Mrs. Kathy Grecco, and was predeceased by brothers, Mr. Charles Saccocci, Mr. Andrew Saccocci, Mr. Gaspar Galati, and sister, Mrs. Mildred Meyers. Joseph was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and served on the USS Irwin, DD-794. He was also a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Disabled Vets, and the USS Irwin Association.
