Eileen Marie Dugan, longtime resident of Cape Coral, FL. Formerly from Cleveland, OH., passed away on March 29th 2017 at Hope Hospice after a short illness. Eileen was born July 15th 1938 and was of Catholic faith. The daughter of the late Frank and Mae Roten of Cleveland, OH. Survivors include her husband; Walter L. Dugan of Cape Coral, Fl. Daughters; Maureen of FL., Kathleen (Kati) of TN., Debbie and husband Alan of OH., Barbara of NC., sons; Robert (Bob) and wife Nancy of OH., Kevin and wife Mary of FL., Dennis of OH. and the late Patrick of FL., grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister; Fran Hunt and husband George of OH. Many close family and friends. Eileen worked as a secretary in Cleveland, OH. In later years Eileen and Wally moved to Tennessee where they owned a successful Marina, Motel and Campground on Norris Lake in Lafollette, Tennessee. Eileen settled in Cape Coral with her husband enjoying many many years of meeting new people. She enjoyed the many restaurants and social gatherings she and Wally attended on a regular basis. Eileen enjoyed the many shopping trips with her daughters and military events she attended with her husband, a retired Marine. Eileen was loved by many people, always willing to listen to a friend or family, lending a smile and a wonderful conversation. She had a quick witted sense of humor along with her beautiful smile. Eileen was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed decorating for the holidays and the change of seasons. Eileen enjoyed solving the daily crossword puzzle each morning with her husband and reading the many books she so enjoyed. Eileen will be remembered as an amazing spirit, a loving wife, mother and friend. Eileen will be honored with a celebration of life on the 15th day of April at 1:00PM at the Cape Coral Moose Lodge 2199, located at 155 Santa Barbara Blvd. N. Cape Coral, FL 33909. Arrangements have been entrusted to the National Cremation and Burial Society.
