William E. Mazyck,82, of North Charleston, husband of Lois Jernigan Mazyck, entered into eternal rest Thurday, November 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. The relatives and friends of Mr. Mazyck are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday November 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of North Charleston, burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 7113 Rivers Ave., N. Charleston, SC 29406. William was born June 21, 1932 in Charleston, SC to the late Edward Preston Mazyck and Doris Winkle Mazyck. He served in the U.S. Army, and also worked over 40 years as a shipping foreman at Bird & Son and Genstar Roofing Co., he was a member of First Baptist Church of North Charleston for 57 years where he had served as a deacon. He was a member of the Low Country Camping Club and enjoyed camping and traveling and having events for family and friends at his home. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Lois M. Mazyck , sons: Edward P. Mazyck and his wife Kimberly, W. Glenn Mazyck , daughter: Dolores Mazyck all of N. Charleston, SC, 7 grandchildren: Alan King, Brittany Martinez (Julian), Kyle Daniel, Edward P. Mazyck, W. Preston Mazyck, James W. Mazyck and Shelbi C. Mazyck, 5 great grandchildren: Caroline, Slade and Piper King, Alyvia Smith and Mason Mazyck and his sister: Ida Mazyck Phillips of N. Charleston, SC.
