William S. Dieter, age 101, passed away on November 30th 2022. Bill was born to William T. Dieter and Carrie Huber, in 1921 and lived in New Jersey.
After graduating high school Bill served 4 years during World War II and returned home going to work for Stanley Tools before owning a hardware store in Springfield, NJ and then later working and retiring from the Wella Corporation.
Bill was a Mason, and in his pastime enjoyed bowling, softball and traveling as well as model ship-building and pinochle.
He was predeceased in death by his parents William and Carrie, his wife Dorothy Dieter, his sister Evelyn and his long-time companion Marge Wittrup.
He is survived by his two sons Stanley Dieter and Ronald Dieter, along with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He will be interred in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
