Verna Miller

Verna was predeceased by the love of her life Alton Miller.

Verna, lovingly known as Verna Mae, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her loving and generous nature, always putting her family first. Verna took great joy in spending time with her children, Thaddeus Miller, Paula Miller, and Susan Miller; her grandchildren, Carissa Miller (husband Brad Smith) and Sarah Magin (husband Sean). She adored her great-grandchildren, Alice and Henry Magin. She cherished every moment with them.

In her free time, Verna enjoyed reading, solving word puzzles, sewing and tending to her garden. She found solace in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren.

Verna attended Pamlico County High School before dedicating her life to being a loving homemaker.

A Visitation will be held September 29,2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of life will follow from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in Carolina Memorial’s Chapel. The Entombment will at 1:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
