Sarah Funk

Sarah is survived by Matthew Funk of Moncks Corner; children, Ethan Exline age 11 and Sylar Funk age 9; birth parents, Michael Brown (Theresa) and Brenda Fletcher (Charles) of Houston, TX; sisters, Nichol and Brittany Brown; brothers, Michael Fletcher, Nickoles Tyler and Zachary Brown; Donald and Valerie Smith who she was raised by and her grandfather, Robert “Bob” Fletcher of Summerville.

Sarah loved the outdoors and was an awesome mother. She would often take her boys to Folly Beach, a place she loved. She was a gifted flutist, an ROTC drill teamer and was a gifted student while in school.

Sarah was employed by Halls Chop House in Charleston.

A Celebration of Sarah’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 29, 2021 Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222.
