Sarah Louise Faulkner, 62, of North Charleston, South Carolina, has gone to be with her Heavenly Father on December 15th, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Everett Faulkner, her father, Corey Furman Shaw Sr., sister-in-law, Judy Prentice, and father-in-law, Emmett Faulkner Sr. She is survived by her mother, Louise D. Shaw, of North Charleston, and her siblings, Benita (Melvin) Shaw of Charleston, Ruth (Duncan) Cookman of Fort Mill, and Corey (Belinda) Shaw Jr. of Dorchester. She is also survived by her 2 Godchildren, Lauren Cookman and Alison Brewer, mother-in-law, Hazel Faulkner, brothers-in-law, Emmett (Gayle) Faulkner Jr. and Jimmy (Martha) Faulkner and a sister-in-law, Frances (James) Driggers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life for Mrs. Faulkner will be Friday at 200pm at Holmes Avenue Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Troy Query. The family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to Holmes Avenue Baptist Church for TV monitors.
