Robert Marshall Hillsman, Jr. passed away peacefully at Roper Hospice Cottage August 22, 2021.
Marshall grew up in Hanahan, SC. He was in the car business for over 40 years. He retired from Rick Hendrick’s in 2017.
He leaves behind his life partner Eva Irene Booth of Summerville, SC. Left to carry on his legacy are his children: Candace Leigh Wilkinson (Andrew) of Summerville, SC and Robert Marshall Hillsman, III (Becky) of North Charleston, SC; his grandchildren: Annsleigh Prentiss Wilkinson, Elizabeth Katherine Hillsman, and Daphne Reading Wilkinson.
A special thanks to Roper Hospice for the exceptional care and dignity they provided in his final weeks.
A private ceremony will be held at Carolina Memorial Gardens as he is interred to join his parents, Robert Marshall Hillsman, Sr. and Lena Mae Reddick Long Hillsman.
