Robert was born August 16, 1943 in Bronx, NY to the Robert S. and Eleanor Harron Dufour. He proudly served in the Air-Force. Robert worked for both GE and Bosch, loved going to the Olive Garden, the fair, seeing the holiday lights, going on cruises, and to Atlantic City. Survivors include his wife, best friend and soul mate; Dolores Mathys Defour, two sons; John Anthony (Diane) and Michael, grandkids; Nicole (Craig) and John Jr, and Kallie, one great granddaughter; Ellie, brother; Paul Dufour, sister; Ruth, and several nieces (Tara Goldstein) and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his son John Anthony Dufour Sr. A Memorial Service will be held 4:30 PM Monday, December 8, 2014 in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, in lieu of flowers donations can be sent to 3358 Stonehaven Dr., North Charleston SC 29420.
