Peggy E. Hutson of North Charleston, SC, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on March 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Hutson. She is survived by her son: Barry D. Hutson (Debbie) of Eutawville, SC; her daughter: Kimberly H. Key (Jared) of Arley, AL; her son: Michael E. Hutson of No. Charleston, SC and 2 grandsons that meant the world to her; Maxwell H. Key and Bryant A. Key. After retiring, Peggy devoted all of her time to enjoying her family, friends and her church. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, SC Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 pm to receive family and friends. The Life Well Celebrated Service will begin at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel, Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
