Mrs. Patricia Ramsey Barrineau

She is survived by her husband George, of 58 years, son George “Barry” Barrineau, Jr. (Lisa), daughter Terri Lood (Rob), and son Scott Barrineau (Valerie), all of Hanahan. She is also survived by grandchildren Randy Barrineau (Yisi), Danielle Miller (Kevin), Preston Lood (Asheton), Brandon Lood, Emily Lood, Amber Barrineau, and Glen Jeansonne III; three great grandchildren, Meredith Miller, Kendall Lood, and Emersyn Lood; sisters Genie Whetsell, Pat Miles, and Deborah Fort, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, brothers Joseph Curtis, Jr., Mark Curtis, and her sister Elizabeth Cox.

She was a member of the Charleston Rifle Club Ladies Auxiliary and served as the past president and as a board member. She served as a Cheerleading Co-Commissioner and coach of the Hanahan Recreation Department. She was a beloved member of the Grand Dames, a 1962 graduate of North Charleston High School, and an avid dancer.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremation located at 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. 843-797-2222. Patricia's funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be at Carolina Memorial Park.
