Myrna Loy Davis

Our loving mother, Myrna Loy Davis, age 84, of Summerville, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones. Myrna was born December 31, 1936 in Charleston, SC.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Elmore and Lois Freeman, her son David E Davis, her sisters June Lewis (Vance), and Linda Morrison, her brothers Jerry Freeman and Larry Freeman.

Myrna is survived by her two daughters Cindy Kuck (Charlie) of North Charleston and Sherry Herron (Rick) of Summerville and her son Randy Davis of Greenville, SC. Grandchildren are Jamie Lynn Davis, Brian Kuck, David C. Davis (Jamie), Tina Chambliss (Josh), Bradley Davis (Cherree), Logan Herron (Samantha), Forde Davis (Sarah), Scott Davis, Stacey Herron, Becky Lunsford and Chris Lunsford. Her great grandchildren are Kendra, Ava, Amber, Aurora, Peyton, Jacob and Jaylon. Also survived by her sister Faye Gainey of North Charleston and several special nieces and nephews.

Myrna lived in the Garco Village of North Charleston and graduated from North Charleston High School. She was a Quality Controller at Robert Bosch and retired in 2000. She was also employed part time at Eva's Restaurant in Summerville. Myrna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a member of Red Hats Society and her other activities included dancing, Bunco, shopping and she was the life of the party.

Mom was sweet, loving and kind with a heart of gold. Her smile and laughter would light up any room. She was an incredible lady and will be missed by all.

A visitation at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home for Myrna will be held Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A Life Well Celebrated Service at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel will occur Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 3:00 PM. An interment to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens will occur. A burial will occur at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave. North Charleston, South Carolina 29406.
