Mrs Mary was the coolest, smartest lady I ever meet. I know I stayed at Ashley Arbor for so long because of her...we looked out for each other...she knew she could call me anytime and I would be right there. I miss our great conversations and I will especially miss her laugh. She was the cream of the crop and they don't make them like her anymore. My prayers and thoughts are with her family whom she loved and was so proud of. R.I.P. Mrs Mary....love ya

Brian met mrs mary when he bought his mobile home around 2006 or 2007. i met her in 2012. brian use to talk to her every time he stopped at the mailbox. and when i moved there i would talk to her at the mailbox . than i started visiting her at her home, and we kept each other company. mrs mary was a great friend , she was kind and loving. when she moved to illinois we moved to michigan and we kept in touch with her and her son kevin. she will be missed dearly 

Jim and I send our condolences to Mary's family on their loss of this beautiful woman.   We knew her through our visits to the AC home in Eureka, Illinois.  We embraced Mary into our family at the home's celebrations at Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We missed seeing her these past months due to the facility's shutdown.  She was a fun-loving, caring and beautiful lady, and we will miss her presence.  Mary Heinz, we love you!

To Mrs. Mary's family,
 I am so sorry to hear of her passing but one thing is for sure heaven got a little spitfire. I met her in 1993 when I worked for Darby and she became a mentor to me. She was and will always will be dear to my heart. When I lost my son in law I will never forget her kindness and love she had for him He worked at Darby also and they had a wonderful friendship. I bet when Danny sees her enter heavens gates he will have smile from ear to ear. Rest easy sweet Mrs. Mary your work on earth is done.

Mary is missed already😥  I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be one of her caregivers! She was “small, but mighty!”😉 So many great memories of a dear lady! My prayers and sympathy are extended to you, her family! 🙏🏼❤️😇

I met Ms. Mary when I went to work for Darby Development in 1996.  We immediately became best buddies.  She was a very dear lady and she taught me a lot over the years.  She was often a guest in my home and my mother and she enjoyed many stories about  the old times.  After my mother died she was like a second Mom to me.  We shared many wonderful times together.  I especially missed her when she moved home to Illinois but I knw Kevin and Julia Ann would take care of her.  She is very happy now she is with Mr. Ed.  I bet she is telling him and everyone in heaven what to do or what she thinks they should do!  God Bless all of you,  Love the family very much, Dale

Mary and I had so much to talk about during the times I was able to stop by her room at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Home.We would talk about a shared love of property mgmt and the cook at the home,the cook is my husband and Mary loved that he came by often to chat and ask if there was anything special he could get her...extra bacon....and that was it....she once told him the bacon was kind of shinny to that he replied...it came from a skinny pig...they laughed about that often.
Mary was very dear to many of our hearts at the home and we will miss her dearly.....

Taking care of Mary was so much more than just apart of my job. In the year I was able to take care of her, I became very close with her, and getting to know her and who she was was truly an honor. Mary undoubtedly touched the life of every single person who stepped foot in her room, and was such a light at the Apostolic Christian Nursing Home. She never failed to brighten my day and make me laugh with her witty humor. She was truly an incredibly special woman. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family during this time of deep loss. I hope you all know how much your family member was loved. 

So thankful for the many conversations, laughs, and jokes Ive gotten to share with Mary over the last couple years I've gotten to know her. What I loved most is how little and sweet she looked on the outside but she had such a sassy strong side to her. Ill never forget her laugh or ability to put smiles on others faces. She was one of a kind. She will be dearly missed. Prayers for family and friends. 

Being a caregiver to Mary while she was living at the Eureka Apostolic Christian Nursing Home, we shared many memories. I always looked forward to entering her room to wake her up in the morning or get her ready for bed at night. We laughed, sometimes cried together.  When talking about life’s trials, I always found encouragement from Mary. No matter what, we would always lift each other up.  I will miss sitting down at the end of her bed talking to her while she sat in her chair. I will miss her laugh when she was tickled at something we had been chatting about and waving goodbye to her as I left my shift walking past her room. We shared a special connection & I will forever hold that dear to my heart. My deepest sympathy goes to family & friends of Mary.
