Martha E Morris

Martha E. Morris, age 82, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on January 10, 2024 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Geneva and Edwin Tharrett. She was born in Depauville, NY on March 25, 1941.

After finishing school, she was a nurse aid until she married the love of her life, Raymond Lee Morris Sr. She enjoyed gardening and loved being a wife and mother to her family. She lived life to the fullest. Her greatest accomplishment in her life was her children, and grandchildren. Her love for them was unconditional.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Morris and her companion, Scott (Gary), as well as her son, Raymond Lee Morris Jr and his wife, Lori of Goose Creek, SC.; two grandchildren, little Lori M. Morris, Joshua K. Morris, and 3 great grandsons of Goose Creek, SC; two sisters, Emily Koberger and Cora Parker of Watertown, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also left behind her dearest friend of 53 years, Janet Judd of Goose Creek, SC.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Morris Sr., a daughter, Bonnie Morris, and son, Kevin Wayne Morris; parents Geneva and Edwin Tharrett; three sisters, Dolly Thomas, Edna Oatman, and Barbara Typhair.

A memorial service will be held at 141 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445, First Baptist Church of Goose Creek, for Martha on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 3:00PM.
